The word that you know as earth may be the only way you see the world. I see it vastly different. I come from a world that illuminates Love from every area of being. Whether it’s a tree, a rock or animal, everything is alive to me. Even the sand on the seashores are alive to me.
A man I hold dear to my heart once told me that he didn’t want me searching for the hidden treasures and mysterious in the Bible. He would rather me learn and teach the more “traditional” scriptures. I did not understand. I couldn’t understand why it was so bad to dig deeper as God would draw me deeper and deeper into more understanding of Himself. I found Jesus more alive than ever before as I followed Him one step at a time (as He told me to :))
Jesus’ love for me expands beyond our love for each other. His love is more than I could have ever imagined and FAR BEYOND our limited experience.
As Jesus, whom is God, enters IN to your heart. Yes. Jesus’ love enters IN to your heart. We can love Jesus from the outside and serve Him WITH all our heart, have ministries, churches, etc. on that love that we have for Him. That very love for Him can overtake us even as we desire to do more and more and more for Him. It’s never enough. And let me tell you. It will never be enough.
You see, Jesus’ love enters IN to your heart. HE enters IN to you. It’s not the other way around. It’s an awakening of sorts. As a Christian who love Jesus, as I do too, we DO as we have been taught to DO for Jesus. I have even taught my children to love and live FOR Jesus. But we must expand ourselves and ALLOW Jesus to touch our hearts deep within. He’s already there as John 17 is clear about this. Jesus and God are One as We are One with Them. So Jesus is not far away. He is right there within you as Holy Spirit has drawn you TO Jesus.
Holy Spirit draws us TO Jesus. If what we are doing is not drawing people closer to Jesus, I encourage you to ask in what spirit you are moving in.
When Jesus enters IN to your reality here on earth, then you begin to awake and experience what Jesus tell His Father (Daddy to me) “They are not of the world, even as I am not of it”. It is in John 17:
13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.”
I feel very much not of this world. My reality changes as Jesus changes it within myself (all within the parameters of the Bible).
The more He shows me, the more I realize how much I do NOT know.
The more He loves me, the more I realize how much I do NOT love.
The more He allows me to love Him through Jesus Christ, the more I realize how much I do NOT know Love Himself (God in Whole, the Trinity).
The more I encounter Him, the more I realize the harshness of the world and the people in it.
How is one to live in a world that follows man, power, money and the things that tickle the ears? When Christians promote and stand as if okay (outside of Scripture) that God submits to us, how are we to live and love? How are we to win lost souls to Jesus Christ when we ourselves dog-paddle to stay afloat? Love? Joy? Righteousness? Peace?!
ONLY IN JESUS. The sin of the world is what Jesus came for. Jesus came to TAKE AWAY the sin of the world…. So who are we to stay connected to? Who is the One to whom can bring the world Love, Joy, Righteousness and Peace?! Jesus. Being INSIDE of Love…HE is our LOVE, JOY, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE….
Am I saying that I do not love as I walk on the earth? No. I am saying I am limited in my love here. If I dive into ministry, my family feels neglected. If I dive into my family, then ministry feels neglected. Where is the balance? I know God yes. I know very personally Daddy, Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. I love the capacity a I’ve been given today. But does it compare to God whom IS Love? No. I am simply a child. I feel more like a child every day. Tender hearted, sensitive to the things around me and more vulnerable every day that passes like a ticking clock that is every moving forward.
Jesus. Holy Spirit. Father. I wouldn’t want a life without God. I don’t know life without God. I don’t remember a life without God.
So many people today have been terribly hurt by people inside of a Church. I am part of that list. I have had even people so close to Jesus misunderstand me and I have felt their harshness as their past wounds rise up. The people in the Church desire to be loving to others (as do I). I believe this with all my heart. I don’t believe church folks desire to dig into hearts and wound it on purpose. But again, THEY are not what Christianity is.
Christianity is not about people nor the hurtful people in it. It’s about having a love relationship with Jesus Christ who died on the cross for you and me and believing Jesus Christ died, rose and lives today. Christianity is about Jesus followers. Christianity is not about power “in the name of Jesus” followers, nor “in the name of Jesus” financial blessing followers, nor, “in the name of Jesus as we change God’s history as written in history” followers. No. Christianity is about those who follow JESUS HIMSELF. As they walk IN Him, KNOW Him, LOVE Him, SUMBIT to Him, DO as their Father does….
I want to encourage you if you haven’t submitted to Jesus Christ Himself and instead have submitted to “authority in leadership above what God tells you”, or if you are so eagerly trying to bring heaven to earth, knowing what the scriptures say about the end time, instead of Jesus, please repent. We get so side-tracked so often. Sometimes we must surrender multiple times a day… Everyone is so unique and beautiful. But we have scripture to guide us as well as a relationship with the one and only Jesus Christ. He is the love of my life as I walk it out with Him. Not a single person on the earth comes before God. How about we remember the first commandment?
Many blessings and enlightenment that comes from Jesus to you! May Holy Spirit draw you all IN to Jesus Christ as we ALL become FOLLOWERS of JESUS CHRIST
